Sunday Brunch

Since I believe in enjoying the sabbath day, I decided to create "Sunday Brunch". I try to go to church every Sunday and spend some time with family. Every Sunday,we enjoy great dishes and talk about the sermon. So Sunday Brunch is going to mirror the same thing.

Today's Food for thought is:
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up

In this verse, God is talking about the union of a man and women and how they should work together in a marriage. When I read the verse. I thought about it and said.... this would be great for my blog. The first line caught my attention two are better than one. A wedding dress and a reception dress.

Great Deals

Some people who have viewed this blog suggested that the gowns are too expensive. I agree, I tend to forget that we are in the middle of hard economic times. I feel every women deserves the Cinderalla fairy tale wedding even if they are on a budget. I found a few sites that offer gowns for $150 or less. Yes, you read correctly and they are all designer gowns.

I am really not a fan of the store but for the bride who is looking for inexpensive jewelry, Ann Taylor has a good selection. The price points start at $50-$160. I would highly recommending Ann Taylor as they have beautiful assortments.

It is Snowing!!! Bring in the Flowers

So it is snowing in NYC and I was sitting down thinking....I cannot wait for spring. I miss the beautiful flowers, the spring dresses and I realized I never talked about flower arrangements. Bouquets are just as important as the gowns. A bride has to consider the color, the flower and all extra details to make the entire day spectacular. I have included a couple of options that will make you think of spring.
