Bridal Market Fall 2011

Romance and Elegance are two words that come to mind for Fall 2011. I had an opportunity to preview Monique Lhuillier's and Reem Acra's collection during bridal market week. I was speechless after both shows. The gowns were amazing and I wished I was getting married so I can try them all. Here is a sneak preview of what to expect for Fall 20111.

Modern Twist to Tradition

In the next couple of days, I would love to focus on new modern trends for weddings. Many future brides are stepping away from a traditional style of dressing. Today I was thinking of a rocker bride. This is called the Madonna 80's inspiration. This is for my fun and edgy brides.

Wear the leather long gloves with the gown to create a edgy feel.

10-10-10

Yesterday was the busiest day of the year. Two of my friends walked down the aisle. I was only able to attend one of the weddings. Congratulations Mrs. Aleta Williams and Mrs. Evangeline Jenkins. Next year will be 11.11. 11. Who will be next? I have included images of Aleta to share with you. Love the veil!!

I Love This MAN

I know this is way off, but I love this man. On Sunday, I will be glued to the TV. Dreaming of walking down the aisle towards Idris Elba.

Maria Karin- Floral Inspiration

Princess Franke has found a great designer- Maria Karin. I stumbled across Maria as I was trying to find a unique designer to showcase. This is great addition to my Fairy Tale inspiration board. The gowns are dreamy and stunning. The 2011 collection is for the bride who is daring and is not afraid to wear something different. Please pay attention to the unique detailing. Five stars on the red carpet.

Lunch Break- Amazing Ball Gown

I am still stuck on the ball gowns. Check out this Marchesa gown. Who would wear this? Meeeeeee!!!!

Thanks Lindsey for sharing xxxx

Princess Forever- Ball gowns

Trying to stay focus at work and I am thinking of "Princess and the Frog". I know.... I love Disney movies. We always dream of the Fairy Tale ending and prince charming. Elizabeth Filmore, Ellis Bridal and Jenny Packman definitely had fairy tales in mind when they created the amazing silhouettes.

Style File: Fall Wedding Dresses

Fall is officially here and I have selected some of my favorite styles. Remember, you can't wear white after Labor Day. Off white, ivory, or a hint of color to complement the fall colors.
