Romance and Elegance are two words that come to mind for Fall 2011. I had an opportunity to preview Monique Lhuillier's and Reem Acra's collection during bridal market week. I was speechless after both shows. The gowns were amazing and I wished I was getting married so I can try them all. Here is a sneak preview of what to expect for Fall 20111.

Modern Twist to Tradition

In the next couple of days, I would love to focus on new modern trends for weddings. Many future brides are stepping away from a traditional style of dressing. Today I was thinking of a rocker bride. This is called the Madonna 80's inspiration. This is for my fun and edgy brides.

Yesterday was the busiest day of the year. Two of my friends walked down the aisle. I was only able to attend one of the weddings. Congratulations Mrs. Aleta Williams and Mrs. Evangeline Jenkins. Next year will be 11.11. 11. Who will be next? I have included images of Aleta to share with you. Love the veil!!

Princess Franke has found a great designer- Maria Karin. I stumbled across Maria as I was trying to find a unique designer to showcase. This is great addition to my Fairy Tale inspiration board. The gowns are dreamy and stunning. The 2011 collection is for the bride who is daring and is not afraid to wear something different. Please pay attention to the unique detailing. Bring in the Shoes

With Fall creeping on us , I was inspired to look up colorful shoes. I recently wrote about shoes with the something blue post. I think wearing a non traditional white shoe is an excellent idea. Why not add color to the dress? Nina the queen of bridal shoes had some amazing pumps that can be worn with the elegant gown. Additionally, I had to add my wish list as well. I love the blue Manolo Blahnik pumps.

Vera Wang had a busy weekend. Chelsea Clinton and Alicia Keys wore Vera Wang to their weddings. The gowns look so beautiful and elegant. Alicia had an effortless look and Chelsea looked like a princess. Five stars on the red carpet.

Every few months, I find a designer where I feel they will make their mark in the bridal industry. I absolutely still love Maria Lucia Hohan, Erica Angeline, and Cymbeline. Their designs are very unique. I stumbled across Romona Keveza while twitting. Go figure... Romona Keveza is in a different category. Her work is pure art. If I ever went to a boutique that offered her gowns, I would have to try all of them. I am serious! I am even contemplating attending a trunk show just so I can see the collection in person. I know, I sound a little dramatic but her dress are draped in a beautiful way. The silhouettes are whimsical and very feminine. Ladies, I beg you please take a look at her website. The evening wear line is also amazing. Romona Keveza receives five stars on the red carpet. Check out some of her gowns.
